ADBL Polish Pro is a professional medium-cut polishing compound built to refine, restore depth, and deliver a mirror-like finish. As the medium-stage compound in the ADBL Pro Line, Polish Pro sits between the heavy cutting power of Cut Pro and the fine refinement of Finish Pro, removing P1500 and P2000 sanding marks along with light scratches, swirl marks, and the haze left behind after a heavy cutting stage.

Polish Pro is the workhorse polish of the Pro Line. Used as part of a multi-stage correction workflow, it follows Cut Pro to refine the heavy-cut haze before a final finishing pass. Used as a one-step product on medium-to-hard paints with light to moderate defects, it delivers a high-gloss finish without the need for a separate cutting stage. The water-based, polymer-free, silicone-free formula keeps the workspace clean with low dust generation, long working time, and easy wipe-off.

For experienced detailers running a Pro Line workflow, Polish Pro can also be mixed with Finish Pro to create a custom two-product blend, useful when the paint sits between standard categories or when a job calls for slightly more or less cut than either product delivers on its own.

Polish Pro is compatible with both rotary and dual-action (DA) polishing machines, and can be used with microfibre or foam pads depending on the level of refinement required and the hardness of the paint being worked.

Polish Pro is the medium-cut refining polish, designed to remove light defects and refine after a heavy cutting stage. Finish Pro is a softer, finer polish designed for the final refinement stage on softer paints. Choose Polish Pro when you need genuine correction with a high-gloss finish, or as the second stage of a multi-step workflow after Cut Pro. Choose Finish Pro when working with soft paints that mar easily, or when you need the cleanest possible finish on a final pass. The two products can also be mixed together to fine-tune cut and finish characteristics for the specific paint being worked.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

1. Shake the bottle well before use to ensure even distribution of the abrasive.
2. Ensure the paint is thoroughly washed, decontaminated, and dried before polishing.
3. Mask off rubber trims, plastic trims, and badges to prevent staining and product accumulation in edges.
4. Work on a cool surface, out of direct sunlight, in a shaded workshop or covered environment.

Application:

1. Apply 4 pea-sized drops of Polish Pro to a clean, unprimed pad for a 40cm x 40cm working area.
2. Spread the product across the panel at low speed with the machine off-trigger or on minimum speed to avoid sling.
3. Work the product at the appropriate speed and pressure for your machine and pad combination. Standard guideline: rotary at 1200 to 1800 RPM, DA at speed 4 to 5, with moderate downward pressure.
4. Work the product through 4 to 6 passes per section, or until the compound begins to clear and the surface takes on a high-gloss appearance.
5. Wipe the residue off cleanly with a plush microfibre towel.

After polishing:

1. Inspect the panel under multiple light sources to confirm defect removal and finish quality.
2. For a flawless final finish on softer paints, follow with ADBL Finish Pro to eliminate any remaining micro-marring.
3. Degrease the paint with a panel wipe or IPA solution to remove any oils and confirm the true corrected finish before applying a ceramic coating, sealant, or wax.

Best practice tips:

• Use a clean pad. Heavily loaded pads reduce performance and can introduce marring.
• Keep the pad flat against the panel and avoid working over hard edges where the clear coat is thinnest.
• Do not let the compound dry on the surface. If working time runs out, add a small mist of water or detailing spray to extend the cycle.
• Test on an inconspicuous area first to confirm the correct pad and machine combination for the paint being worked.

Repeated skin exposure may cause dryness or cracking, and the product contains a preservative that may cause an allergic skin reaction in sensitive individuals.
